The client was initially unsure what he wanted within the logo. I spent some time discussing with him what and who the logo was for. He said he wanted a medieval theme so I enquired if there was a character or weapon that would be suitable for the logo. He said that he would like weapons.
This is a few sketches of logo ideas and typographic treatments that I presented to the client.
I also sent the client this example of how the text would interact with the logo.
The client choose sketch 3 with typography A, so this is the sketch I started with. The client was unsure what colours or style they wanted and told me to just do what I wanted. They did request that the circle background be turned into a shield. I decided to make the illustrations simple so that they could be changed when the client had a better idea of what his needs were.

The client's response to these logos was positive. He asked me to add the helmet as well, so I did. However, after I had added it, we lost communication and unfortunately the project could not be finished.
